The Imbel MD-2 is one of the assault rifles in the MD series, which are based on the Belgian FN FAL. They are rechambered-down to make use of the 5.56x45mm NATO and have undergone several changes to the bolt, feeding mechanism and exterior.

The rifle is used by nearly all departments of the Brazilian military and police forces. As for performances, I'd guess she's pretty close to the FN FNC/FN CAL.
