Watercolor painting on 180g A4 paper.
A painting of Kiwi Formula one driver, Denny Hulme, in the Kiwi McLaren together with teammate and also fellow Kiwi, Bruce McLaren, in 1968.
As the Formula one champion of 1967, Denny Hulme carried the 'number 1' towards McLaren for the 1968 season. Though he and Bruce McLaren started out the season with the outdated McLaren M5A with the BRM P142 3.0 liter V12 in South Africa, their season only really started to become more successful with the M7A chassis and the great Ford Cosworth DFV 3.0 liter V8 engine.
Hulme was in for a back-to-back championships title, had his suspension not failed in Mexico City during the final and deciding race.
